Born and raised in Boneville, GA., Smith has painted since she was a little and uses art as a way to physically interpret her dreams and visions and to illustrate her poetry often using common everyday things. It is this need to express herself rather than worrying about what people are supposedly buying that has drawn art enthusiasts to her work over the years.
