Waterstone was born in 1983 and raised in Kennesaw Ga. She received her BA in Studio Art from the University of Georgia in 2006 and has been journaling and creating art ever since. After UGA, she helped write the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) for Visual Arts through the Department of Education where she was the youngest member of the team of writers.
