Born in 1977, artist Michel Balint was born and still lives in Cluj-Napoca located in northwestern Romania. The city of Cluj-Napoca is one of the most important academic, cultural and industrial centers in the country, is located in the historic province of Transylvania. Michel Balint is a full time artist who’s technique can best be recognized through his bold use of form and color. Balint has spent the last few years working on commissions from around the world. His work has been collected throughout Europe and the USA.

Education 1991-1994 - he attended the courses of the Popular School of Arts in Zalau. 1995-1996 - he attended the courses of the "Tibiscus" Design University of Timisoara. 2000 - he's a student of the "Ioan Andreescu" Academy of Visual Arts in Cluj (in the 2nd year of study, specializing in Ceramics).

Artistic Activity 1991,92,93 - Commissioned to paint four churches in Hungary. 1994 - Awarded 1st prize - International Drawing Contest - Hungarian Museum, Budapest. 1996 - Vamospercs Creation Camp in Hungary. 1998 - Army Painting Exhibition held in Sinai. 1998 - "Memorial of Holocaust" exhibition - Transit Foundation Cluj-Napoca. 1998 - Byzantine icons painted on wood - Ethnographic Museum of Cluj-Napoca. 1999 - Group exhibition - Autumn Show Room in Salaj-Zalau.
