Harold McNaron has participated in art collectives in Atlanta , Washington D.C., and New York City . McNaron's work is influenced by his upbringing in a southern evangelical home, his social justice work within disenfranchised communities, as well as his infatuation with street and folk artists.
In his highly original compositions, subjects seem to take shape miraculously from within the clouds of acrylic, wood grain, cardboard and other recycled materials the artist freely uses. McNaron's work is so full of life that we haven't been able to stop talking about this exciting new painter's work. Edgy and full of energy is the best way to describe McNaron's technique with a hint of tradition thrown in for good measure.
