Imelda is a professional artist and illustrator who has been making art since they were knee high to a grasshopper and always wanted to do nothing else. A member of the SCBWI; Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, Imelda works in Acrylics and pen & ink, primarily, but also enjoys printmaking, graphite, polymer clay, textiles, collage and anything else that cathces her fancy. The artist holds a B.A. in Studio Arts and is a published illustrator. Imelda has exhibited in solo and group shows on the west coast. The artist currently resides California.
