Born 1953 in Lodi, New Jersey, Kozak's prolific imagination, combined with the eccentricity that permeates his detailed mythological fantasias often weave elements from 17th century and Native American images and motifs.
A mixed media artist, Kosak works in all mediums including oil, watercolor, pen-and-ink and charcoal. His work has been collected internationally. Several of his paintings have been chosen to be part of an exclusive collection at the Leslie-Lohman Museum in the SoHo district of New York City that collects, preserves and exhibits visual arts. Author Anne Rice has one of Kozak’s paintings in her personal art collection.
The artist resides in Paterson, New Jersey.
