Artist Katie Jones has been crafting and making art since she was a little girl with her mom, who first introduced her to Native American bead looming. Jones is presently finishing her work towards a Fine Arts degree (major) & Art History (minor) from Memphis College of Arts. Jones also runs her own online shop - Swirling Dreams. Currently, Jones enjoys working on small intimate pieces with themes ranging from landscapes, abstracts, to Asia. She also devotes some of her time as an art teacher and tutor to students aged 4 to 15. "A great deal of my influences come from modern Japanese graphic design as well as the works from the great masters of Pop Art such as Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, & Takashi Murakami.
