On March 10, 2011, Armed-with-Art launched its bi-monthly HIV/AIDS initiative, “Let’s TALK.” The event was a success! Participants–both men & women of various ages–partook in a thought provoking ice breaker to show just how easily the virus can be spread and later discussed a variety of sensitive (and non-sensitive) topics related to HIV and the African American community.

On Thursday, May 19, 2011 we will do it again with a brand new ice-breaker and facilitator to keep things fun and participants engaged and open!

Talking about HIV/AIDS doesn’t HAVE to be taboo. Let’s break the silence around this issue together! Bring a friend!
