Williams is am mostly self taught but has a fine teacher in her husband, painter John Williams. She also admits to taking an art class several years ago. I have found that I can't leave the paint alone. "I like to paint everything. My need is color." The artist enjoys working in bright acrylics, robust gouache, and bold oils. "I am childlike in my approach but I believe that we all must find our way to express ourselves. My expressions have found their way to Israel and Puerto Rico and many homes in between. Life is so full of surprises and I love each day." Williams likes to call herself an Americana-Expressionist-Outsider. Her work as been likened to Milton Avery. Artist resides in PA. |
