Like so many artists on the Nairobi scene, after a couple of successful years of selling paintings in local galleries, the artist seems to have just disappeared and nobody knows of his whereabouts. Ngugi has a highly stylized technique characterized by vivid compositions featuring single figures doing chores or symbolically expressing emotion. In the case of these characters, the 'weight of the world', is represented in two distinctly different images, though each having its own gender specific and yet his figures seem to have a good attitude and are able to carrying-on.
