MISSION IMPOSSIBLE II: The Worlds Tiniest Art Show

The contemporary world of art, large paintings have pretty much become cliché. Galleries and artists alike, desperately try harder and harder to convince us, that bigger IS better. Thankfully, a school of artists have emerged who's work successfully counters this thought - MINIATURE artists.

From its humble beginning as tiny cave paintings in Africa, Miniature art has continually flourished through the ages, while advancing, by embracing a wider variety of subject matter and media. Because of its gemlike qualities, this unique art form of painting works that are extremely small in scale, continues to intrigue viewers even today.

Exhibition ran through May 30, 2009
