U*SPACE is a not-for-profit interdisciplinary art space which serves as a vital crossroad for fostering & promoting community wellness through creativity & education. VISION - U*Space is an emerging arts organization located in the Historic Fourth Ward district of SE Atlanta. Our goal is to serve as an important artistic & cultural hub. Founded on a believe that original art must be made accessible visually as well as financially to larger audiences; U*Space is committed to giving voice to a truly wide ranging & culturally diverse group of artists & mediums from around the world. Because we believe that the arts are an integral part of sustaining a healthy culture, U*Space continually offers curated programming that places focus on individual, community, and global importance. U*Space strongly supports new & experimental works that genuinely move, challenge, as well as help audiences begin meaningful dialogues. U*Space is also committed to placing special emphasis on works that help foster tolerance and understanding when it comes to the needs of women, people of color, youth, seniors, and lesbians/gays.
